About me

Hi, I’m Hayden Singer and with a last name like that I suppose my path to the stage was a self-fulfilling prophecy. I am originally from Southwest Florida with plans of moving to NYC in the fall. I recently received my BFA in Musical Theatre from Nazareth University.

My first passion for performing came through music in band class, French horn lessons, teaching myself guitar, and writing the occasional song. Although, my knack for a laugh was a sign of a natural entertainer. I first got into theatre when some friends of mine played the song “Sincerely, Me” from Dear Evan Hansen and I realized “Musicals can be funny!?” It wasn’t long after when I made my theatrical debut as everyone’s favorite council member in Hairspray… Brad! After that, I caught the bug and it would’ve taken an army of chorus girls and character actors to take me away.

Additionally, I am a singer/songwriter and have experience as a music director, scenic carpenter, and theatre educator and I aspire to direct one day. I also enjoy cooking new recipes, spending time outside, playing video games, and gawking at new audio gear.
